    Looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer to join our team and take on a multi-faceted role assuring quality and minimizing risks of technology products delivered by development teams or vendors.     DDaT Pay Supplement

    Job Description
    Cloud Infrastructure Test Engineer role involves testing Social Security Scotland�s AWS hosted infrastructure in the Chief Digital Office. Responsibilities include:
    • Delivering manual and automated infrastructure testing solutions.
    • Owning testing deliverables for work streams or scrum teams.
    • Developing automated test scripts and continuous integration test pipeline.
    • Supporting Non-Functional Testing function and process improvement.
    Strong expertise in manual and automated test design & development, infrastructure testing in AWS, and test frameworks. Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform, Packer, Docker, Jenkins, among others.
    Person Specification
    • Infrastructure testing experience in Cloud hosting with AWS and applying test-driven development practices.
    • Expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automated test framework for infrastructure testing.
    • Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix, Windows Server, embedding testing into CI/CD process, and utilizing static testing techniques.
