    Salary Range: £23,115 - £24,140 pro rata per annum
    Work Location: Mid - Winchester covering Bishops Waltham, Andover, Romsey, Hedge End, West End
    Contract Type: Permanent
    Hours per week: Full time and part time

    When people have had a major setback in life, it's our Community Reablement Assistants at Hampshire County Council who support them to regain their independence and regain control of their life.

    After a hospital admission, service users may have lost their confidence or are unable to complete daily tasks as before. Perhaps they've had an operation or are recovering from a fall. Whatever their age, background or circumstance, our Reablement Service is designed to help service users regain the ability, independence and confidence to do some or all the things they used to do in a safe and realistic way.

    We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, patient and person-centred individuals with a caring personality and attitude, looking for a rewarding career that will suit people from all backgrounds.

    The Reablement Team provide a full an in-depth supportive induction programme along with continuous training and development. There are opportunities for quick progression and fantastic prospects for career development. Some of our past Community Reablement Assistants have even gone on to becoming Occupational Therapists, Specialist Sensory Workers and Registered Managers.

    You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire, and it is essential that you have a current drivers' licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.

    The Reablement Service and Community Reablement Assistants work over a 7 days a week, You will be required to work evenings and/or public holidays and/or weekends as part of your Normal Working Hours. You will be required to work a shift pattern as part of your role, details of this will be confirmed by your line manager.
