    We are looking for UK-qualified commercial lawyers with writing experience who can support the maintenance of Lexology PRO's practical resources, specifically by researching and updating how-to guides and checklists. See practical resources

    Lexology PRO provides tools, intelligence and data to in-house and private practitioners around the world. It informs its subscribers of legal and regulatory developments, helping users understand the impact on their business with key updates, analysis and multi-jurisdictional data and regulatory monitoring tools and provides practical resources to support them in carrying out legal tasks and achieving operational efficiencies.

    We are looking for commercial legal freelancers to support our busy team of knowledge development lawyers with the following:

    • Thoroughly reviewing the Lexology Pro UK commercial practical resources, and updating and amending where required, to ensure relevant legislation, case law regulation and guidance is updated and referenced appropriately and accurately and that the materials continue to be accurate and current.
    If you have a minimum of 5 years' PQE in the UK in the commercial practice area and have demonstrable experience in writing practical legal content that is concise and easy to digest, please contact us to discuss freelance opportunities.     What you will be doing


    • Thoroughly reviewing the Lexology Pro UK commercial practical resources, and updating and amending where required, to ensure relevant legislation, case law regulation and guidance is updated and referenced appropriately and accurately and that the materials continue to be accurate and current

    • Liaising closely with Lexology PRO team and adhering to agreed timeframes for production of content

    Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • UK qualified lawyer (5 years PQE) with legal industry experience - in private practice and/or in-house
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the law and market practice in the area of commercial law
  • Good understanding of legal workflows and the practical needs of (in particular) in-house lawyers, as well as private practice and the legal market generally
  • PSL Experience is desirable (not essential)
  • Clear succinct writing style
  • Excellent written English
  • Demonstrable analytical and research skills, and ability to identify key relevant information from sources
  • Familiarity with online legal research tools preferred
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively manage own time to ensure work completed efficiently
