    We are on the hunt for a dedicated full-time Staff Nurse ICU to join an incredible team in a top-tier private hospital based in London. This role promises not only a rewarding career but also offers an impressive salary and fantastic benefits.

    The role of Staff Nurse ICU comes with an attractive salary of £45,000 per annum. The position also includes a flexible work schedule, covering days, nights, and weekends. This role promises a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.

    As a Staff Nurse ICU, your responsibilities would include:
    • Providing direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2&3 care, following established policies, procedures and protocols.
    • Prioritising nursing care and recognising deterioration in patient's condition, escalating to the senior nursing team or clinicians immediately.
    • Serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
    • Assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

    The ideal candidate for the Staff Nurse ICU role would have:
    • Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) with no restrictions to practice.
    • Demonstrable clinical experience in the field of high acuity critically ill adults.
    • A wide range of experience working in critical care specialities, including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery.
    • Completion of Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course.
