    Description
    We are hiring an experienced finance systems accountant with essential Workday configuration experience.


    The successful candidate must have gained at least 3 years of Workday configuration experience including a full implementation cycle for Workday Financial and Financial planning and will possess relentless enthusiasm whilst evidencing an agile and commercial mindset.

    This role requires someone with significant and in-depth systems and accounting knowledge who can decode complex requirements and translate those into a configured solution.

    Working closely with internal finance colleagues and supported by a small team of Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts, the post holder will initially support the development of the finance configuration design covering R2R, O2C, P2P and Payroll but will also support the wider requirements and interdependencies.

    Manage the configuration of Workday Finance and Financial Planning modules.
    Evaluate and then propose adaptations to achieve the optimum configuration.
    Identify Risks and recommend solutions.
    Contribute to the Workday training content for SMEs and Internal Workday Specialists.
    Work in collaboration with the wider project team particularly those within the Functional Design Stream.
    Professional and Personal Qualities
    Minimum of 2 years of Workday implementation experience (including FINS)
    Strong IT skill set with advanced experience in Microsoft applications (experience in data manipulation and automation software would be preferred)
    Demonstrates a high level of commercial awareness and can adapt and adopt to changing demands and priorities.
    Has a well-developed network of contacts and experts.
    Seek opportunities outside of core responsibilities that will help increase value.
    Ensures quality by implementing robust review processes and going the 'extra mile' when required.
    Is proactive in setting up team-building activities and engaging those around them.
