      • Job Description

      Due to upcoming projects in the South East, we seek multiple site managers to bolster our project team for National Gas.

      Operating at one of our sites, you will oversee the efficient management, delivery, and support of key National Gas projects. Your role is crucial in meeting program requirements, aligning with company goals, and achieving client expectations. The focus is on managing contracts to meet safety, time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.

      Management of construction activities

      • Safety - Ensuring site standards, assisting risk assessment, and overseeing accident investigations.
      • Production - Meeting timelines and minimizing downtime.
      • Quality - Maintaining workmanship standards, quality records, and process capability.
      • Problem-solving.
      • Preparing & Reviewing RAMS for site activities.
      • Maintaining & Updating construction plans and associated documents.

      Control of costs

      • Manpower.
      • Materials.
      • Plant and vehicles.
      • Damages and thefts.

        • Liaison with the Health & Safety Manager

        • Collaborating to enhance standards through joint site inspections.
        • Addressing improvement notices and adopting best practices.

          • Liaison with the Client's Site Operatives

          • Ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
          • Handling actions from technical audits and managing competency levels.
          • Coordinating activities with site operations.

            • Liaison with the Planning Manager

            • Reporting on construction planning progress and addressing delays or events.

              • Liaison with the Clients' representatives:

              • Attending progress meetings and managing day-to-day activities.

                • Control of plant, equipment, and materials.

                Administration.

                • Maintaining documentation such as quality records, timesheets, and work records.
                • Collaborating with various stakeholders.

                  • Qualifications

                  • Extensive experience in Gas industry projects.
                  • EUSR SHEA Gas competency.
                  • Supervisory Management Training.
                  • CSCS Managers Card.
                  • IOSH / SMSTS certification.
                  • Willingness to travel weekly.
                  • Full UK driving license.
                  • Strong work ethics and leadership skills.
                  • Certified First Aider.
                  • Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor (desirable).
                  • CDM Awareness.
                  • NEC 3&4 Contract experience (desirable).
                  • Fire Warden certification (desirable).
