    Key job responsibilities

    • Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in your organization.
    • Lead the development and implementation of new programs to drive end to end operational efficiency across SEA program
    • Leveraging large data and performance metrics to identify and eliminate process defects
    • Enhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with your stakeholders by leading specific efficiency improvement programs for SEA landside.
    • Develop and execute integration road of SEA program into wider organization mechanisms and processes
    • Discuss new operating model and data accuracy with our Legal, Finance and Network team
    • You will own business success metrics through coordination across technology, operations, business and program stakeholders.
    • Work independently in a high pressure environment with all levels of leadership and exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist
    A day in the life
    As Program Manager, you'll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programs. You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan.

    Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you'll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    Some include:
    • Manage and review operational excellence & process efficiency of SEA business with our internal supporting functions and partner teams
    • Work with internal team to build operating models for special initiatives on Amazon SEA growth and support new launch projects to enable scaling roadmap
    • Enhance operational performance on every program in partnership with your stakeholders by leading specific launch improvement programs for SEA.
    About the team
    Amazon couldn't deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you'll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea,rail and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you'll help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.

    We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

    London, GBR
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
    • Experience in program or project management
    • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
    • Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
    • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Master's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
    • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
    • Experience of Six Sigma/ Lean analytical techniques
    • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
    • Experience leading process improvements
