You will manage Drayage Strategy, Pricing and Efficiency for Amazon network via Sea.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in your organisation.
    • Owning Amazon SEAs North Star and its development cycles
    • Develop and own programs improving pricing and efficiency of Amazon SEA landside operations.
    • Engaging with internal teams to drive Amazon's sustainability goals
    • Leveraging large data and performance metrics to drive business results
    • Develop integration roadmap for new supply type and under the roof process used in Amazon
    • Structure programs within the wider team and build business cases to secure buy-in from teams across Amazon to realize business targets
    • Partnering with finance, legal and network teams to shape future growth plans and guide SEA and landside partners through new launches and other special projects
    • Willing to travel up to 15%
    A day in the life
    As Senior Programme Manager, you'll drive and manage the implementation of creative, data-driven change in Amazon, leading improvement projects and programmes. You'll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.

    Senior Programme Managers have significant responsibilities, and you'll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    Some include:
    • Review the performance and attainment with our internal supporting functions and partner teams
    • Work with tech team to indentify and develop drayage product requirements
    • Build pricing models for drayage operations on Amazon SEA growth and own cost saving projects
    • Discuss new operating model and data accuracy with our Legal, Finance and Network team
    • Enhance operational performance on every programme in partnership with your stakeholders by leading specific efficiency improvement programs for SEA landside.
    About the team

    We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

    London, GBR
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- A degree
    • Relevant experience communicating with and influencing a range of different stakeholders including senior management
    • Relevant experience in managing large-scale programmes or projects
    • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Advanced or master's degree
    • Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Prince2 certifications, or any other project management certification
    • Relevant experience working in a supply chain, logistics, or operations environment
    • Experience in conceptualising and implementing operational or supply-chain management improvements
