- Provide day-to-day support to the Finance Department.
- Controlling & analysing business performance of international entities.
- Supporting system implementations & upgrades as we continue to invest significantly in new systems and technologies.
- Posting intercompany purchase invoices.
- Posting and allocating bank receipts and bank payments for overseas territories.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Assist with controlling the fixed asset register and posting depreciation.
- Post accounting journals, particularly at month end.
- Assist with month end close and P&L preparation.
- Assist with year end auditing and statutory accounts preparation.
- Assist with group board reporting.
- Assist with additional system project implementations as required.
- Communicate regularly with overseas entities for updates on aged debt and shipped not invoiced.
- Balance sheet control, reconciliations and analysis.
- Assist with generation of local VAT returns and other statutory submissions.
- Assist with queries from overseas entities on how to perform tasks within the ERP system and any subsidiary tax issues.
- Relevant qualification (i.e. AAT, PQ, Degree).
- Previous experience of working within a group that has intercompany transactions.
- Enthusiastic team player – able to build constructive relationships with key stakeholders.
- Willingness to try new things, innovative & pioneering approach.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel (i.e. V-Lookups, Pivots etc.).
- Can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communicator – able to discuss queries or issues with key stakeholders at all levels of the business.
