Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced technical support to our clients, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing solutions to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide 3rd line technical support to resolve escalated incidents and service requests.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues promptly.
Implement and maintain IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, and security systems.
Document and maintain accurate records of support activities, solutions, and configurations.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide expert advice and recommendations to clients.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a managed IT services environment.
Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.Experience with networking protocols, firewall configurations, and VPN technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) are highly desirable.
