    Job Description

    We are a well-established, family-owned firm providing independent financial advice on pensions, investments, protection and inheritance tax planning in the heart of Stamford and surrounding areas. As we are expanding, we are looking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Paraplanner and/or Administrator to join our team and support the firm's financial advisers in ensuring that our clients continue to receive a first-class service.

    You will be expected to assist our financial advisers in formulating the advice to the client, providing technical support and guidance where appropriate, and preparing suitability reports in accordance with FCA regulations. The ideal candidate will possess great analytical skills and be able to undertake comprehensive research and analysis of financial products and funds. You will utilise various research tools for technical and tax calculations, as well as creating cashflow models to support our client's financial plans.

    You may also be required to assist with the annual review process, making sure that our financial advisers are well prepared for their review meetings with clients, as well as gathering information on clients' existing policies and summarising these accordingly.

    About you:

    • A positive, can-do attitude is essential
    • Ideally qualified to at least Level 4 Diploma, if not working towards it
    • 2 years minimum experience in the financial services industry
    • Desired experience using Intelligent Office, FE Analytics and CashCalc
    • Good technical knowledge of financial products and services
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
    • A drive to succeed and deliver a high level of customer service
