    Graduate Project Engineer - AutoCAD 2D

    If you are seeking a role that is mainly based in the office (but not always), focusing on project and contract management, then this opportunity might be the right fit for you.

    This company is a well-established third-generation small business specialized in delivering ventilation projects, from design to installation management, with a strong reputation for quality and project delivery.

    They are currently looking to expand their team with an individual to assist in project management tasks, such as planning, site surveys, and coordination of sub-contractors.



    The Role:

    • Typically office-based:
    • You will collaborate with colleagues to oversee multiple installations conducted by trusted sub-contractors.
    • Responsibilities include producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings for layout installation, working closely with customers to meet quality, budget, and time requirements.
    • You will contribute to preparing detailed quotes, RAMS, and other health and safety documentation.
    • Site visits to survey, measure, and plan installations with clients are essential. In addition, you will work on ISO9001 quality management documents and conduct occasional Toolbox talks.
    • Working hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break).

    Essential Requirements:

    • Must be based locally in the Northampton area with long-term availability.
    • Background in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Civil Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Proficiency in CAD drawings is a must.
    • Driving license is required.


      • Smart and Presentable Package:

      • Salary up to £35,000 DoE.
      • Offer includes pension scheme, private health care.
      • Enjoy 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and a Christmas week shutdown.
      • Annual salary review and profit-related bonus.
