    CUH Theatres, which is included in both Addenbrooke's Hospital and the Rosie Hospital, employ over 600 staff who work across a total of 37 operating theatres.

    In main theatres there are 22 theatres split into three units.

    Aspiring candidates who wish to join our team as a Band 5 ODP or RN can explore numerous development opportunities.

    These include our Trainee Anaesthetic Nurse Course, offered in partnership with University College London (UCL), as well as prospects for further education and professional growth leading to a PG Cert and a Master's degree.

    Participate in the supervision and training of students and junior staff.

    NMC of HCPC active registration or awaiting registration number

    Relevant perioperative teaching and management experience required for senior Band 5 practitioners

    Evidence of supervision/mentoring of learners and junior staff
    NMC code of conduct guidelines
    Awareness of WHO Surgical Safety checklist

    Flexible and adaptable to changing situations due to both workload and colleague need

    Willingness to accept alternative shift times
    Committed to the development of junior staff

    Willingness to undertake additional roles and to share knowledge with students and junior staff
