Description
Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.
As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets.
As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join the team to support the Warehouse Leads, by receiving goods, storing and issuing materials.
- Key responsibilities will include:_
- Organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to distribute within the business
- Fulfilment of Bills of Materials for production
- Stock control of finished goods, consumables and materials
- Packing and preparing delivery of goods to customers
- Providing components from stock for all departments
- Ensure that inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled
- Maintain the stores in a neat and tidy fashion
- Updating our MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system of stock received against purchase orders
- Compliance with all company policies, in particular our quality, health and safety and environmental policies.
- Skills and experience required:_
- Previous proven experience working within a mechanical / electrical production assembly environment
- Demonstrated use of traceability tools and systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles (Kaizen, 5S etc)
- Previous experience preparing and shipping large goods on an international level
- Familiar with using MS Excel, MS Outlook and preferably a stock management system
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams
- Resultsorientated and good attention to detail
- Good understanding and appreciation for health and safety to ensure a safe working environment for you, your colleagues and visitors at all times
- A strong team player, selfmotivated with a cando attitude.
- Desirable:_
- Previous experience working within an aerospace regulated background (AS9100)
- Experience of using Microsoft Navigation Dynamics MRP system
- Full driving license
- Experience in operating forklift vehicles.
