    We are therefore happy to discuss the working pattern and hours that will work best for you- we just ask you form part of our 1 in 4 weekend rota.

    We enjoy the varied caseload you would expect from a busy general practice and this allows our vet team to embrace their clinical interests which include surgery, dentistry, and exotics.

    Bi-annual 'official' 1:1s and regular 'coffee catch ups' means we can keep a continued dialogue regarding our team's development and how things are working in practice.

    Our 3 monthly practice newsletter also allows everyone to keep up to date with everything that's going on both in clinic and socially- the latest will definitely include details of our Christmas celebrationsIn addition, a genuine open door policy operates within our practice to make sure everyone is getting the support they need, when they need it.

    We have two Mental health First-Aiders in our team and following on from some work done with Vet Led, HALT is something we promote and live-by each day.

    Full time hours equate to 35 hours averaged over 4 weeks and weekends involve covering shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

    Our rota is fixed so you will always get the same surgery and consulting days and finishing times each week.

    We are an in-store practice, based in Stirling in Central Scotland, just one hour's drive from Edinburgh and even less to Glasgow.

    As well as providing all the amenities of a city, including excellent transport links, Stirling also boasts being the gateway to the highlands and has a spectacular castle at the heart of the city.

    For the practice itself, we have exciting plans for an extension in the new year including the addition of an extra consult room and dedicated team room which will be designed around encouraging downtime.

    We're also proud to have recently achieved our Silver Investors in the Environment award which is a result of the whole team coming together, pooling their interests and working together to make positive changes including the introduction of a bee garden within the practice.

    This position will suit a vet with at least a few years of experience, confident with routine consults and surgery, looking to join a team that is dedicated to providing a healthy and balanced work-life, listens to feedback, and encourages everyone to embrace diversity.
