Holiday Inn London - Kensington High Street is a prime Holiday Inn establishment in Europe, centrally located in London, providing modern and comfortable accommodation for both leisure and business guests. With 706 contemporary guest rooms and 13 versatile meeting spaces accommodating up to 300 attendees, our establishment offers a diverse culinary experience with a spacious restaurant, Lounge Bar, and Open Lobby café. Moreover, we boast a delightful private garden, Health Club, Pool, and Spa facilities.

We are currently seeking a dynamic Lifeguard to join our Health Club team

Purpose of the Role:

To oversee and ensure safety during aquatic activities, including supervising swimmers, conducting rescue operations, and staying vigilant of changing water conditions

Main Responsibilities:

• Supervise swimming activities at the aquatic center, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations
• Alert individuals of hazardous behavior, enforce water safety policies, and uphold pool regulations
• Administer first aid in case of injuries, rescue swimmers in distress, and perform CPR or artificial respiration as needed
• Evaluate safety conditions and establish emergency response plans for aquatic incidents
• Inspect pool equipment, facilities, and water quality to ensure safety and usability
• Oversee and assist in equipment and facility maintenance
• Open and close the pool as per operating hours
• Conduct swimming classes or provide assistance in teaching swimming techniques
• Resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain a safe pool environment

Key Qualifications:

• NPLQ certification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong sense of pride and meticulous attention to detail
