    A leading firm specialising in bespoke interior solutions with a focus on high-end stone projects is currently seeking a Design Coordinator to join their team.

    They are looking for a Design Coordinator with a specific focus on stone projects to contribute to their London-based Design Department.

While familiarity with the bespoke stone industry is beneficial, it is not a prerequisite; training will be provided. Individuals with backgrounds in design, architecture, fit-out, or similar fields are encouraged to apply. Interviews will be conducted in person at their central London location.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Developing and maintaining project schedules for stone installationsManaging project budgets and targets for stone projectsEnsuring delivery of high-quality stone drawings within client and company expectationsOverseeing the design approval process for stone elementsHandling requests for information related to stone materialsDocumenting and tracking design changes for stone componentsConducting on-site assessments and surveys for stone installationsFacilitating client meetings and workshops related to stone designsCoordinating design efforts with other subcontractors for stone-related workGenerating detailed manufacturing instructions for bespoke stone elements

    Specific Duties:

    Handling pressure and client expectations effectively in stone projectsReviewing design resources and implementing changes as needed for stone elementsSupervising freelance draughtsmen working on stone projectsCoordinating schedules between design and main contractors for stone installationsLiaising closely with clients to address design challenges related to stone materialsProducing 2D design schematics using specialised software for stone elementsDeveloping intricate design schematics for bespoke stone surfacesConducting precise site surveys, including utilising advanced measurement tools for stone projectsCompiling precise manufacturing instructions for bespoke stone elements

    Requirements:
