    Description

    Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter with a love for engineering and a talent for solving problems? Our client, a top engineering company, is looking for a seasoned individual to join their team.


    Salary:
    £32,000 - £40,000 per year (Includes Bonus and Overtime)

    Shifts:
    Day Shift - Monday to Friday

    Responsibilities:
    - Maintain and repair cargo handling plant equipment, including Forklift Trucks (FLT), Cranes, and Heavy Plant Machinery.
    - Perform regular servicing and ensure effective equipment repairs.
    - Disassemble and assemble motors.
    - Replace pistons and spark plugs.

    Skills/Experience Required:


    - Proven experience in maintaining and repairing cargo handling plant equipment is a plus.

    - Proficient in disassembling and assembling motors.
    - Strong problem-solving abilities with great attention to detail.
    - Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and health guidelines.

    Qualifications:
    - A relevant trade certificate or diploma in engineering is beneficial.
