Description

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern is Monday-Friday
(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours.

The post is based in the Plastic Surgery Out-patient's Department at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The Plastic Surgery Unit covers the West of Scotland.
We care for patients who have underwent reconstructive surgery for skin cancer, breast cancer and traumatic injuries.
One of the main roles is providing wound care for the patients group we care for.
Within the service, is a multi-disciplinary team with medical staff, nurses, healthcare support worker, physiotherapists and specialist nurses. We also work closely with our periphery hospitals and refer our patients to community colleagues based in local treatment rooms and District Nursing Teams.
Working hours are 30 hours across Monday to Friday within the core hours of 9-5.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work to high standards in a fast paced environment.
You will be flexible, forward thinking and able to work effectively within a changing and dynamic environment.
