Community Property Care is looking for a hardworking and reliable person to fill our Mobile Property Caretaker position based in the Southampton to undertake regular grounds maintenance and cleaning tasks.


Salary:
£23,000 - £25,000


Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

Main Duties:

  • Regular grounds maintenance of external areas across a wide portfolio of developments, both large and small, as well as cleaning of internal communal areas.
  • Carry out general ground maintenance, ad hoc maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with the cleaning of internal communal areas within the region, that extends to our wider business model.
  • Help assess maintenance and health and safety issues including reporting building defects, testing of fire and security alarms.

Person Specification:

  • Have a keen interest in gardening, no trade qualifications are required but previous experience in a similar type of role would be highly advantageous.
  • Have at least 1 year of cleaning experience.
  • Demonstrate good decisionmaking skills and common sense.
  • Take pride in consistently providing a high standard of customer service as you will be acting as a Community Property Care' representative when on site.
  • Experience of working to achieve agreed works are completed within agreed time frames.
  • A team player who ensures that all our estates and communal areas are clean, tidy and in a safe condition.
  • Live in Southampton
  • Hold a current and full manual Driving License (essential as on occasions you will be required to use a Company van as a tool for the job).
