Marketing Executive (Also known as Marketing Officer)

Location This role is based in our office in the centre of Marden, Kent

The role is a temporary position for 3-4 months although there may be scope for this role to become permanent.

Salary £20,000 - £23,000 full time salary

The core hours are 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

The role

To assist in the development of marketing communication materials (primary function to help produce the company catalogue) and other marketing activities related to promoting our Company brand message and product portfolio.

Assist the creation and publication of all marketing materials. For example, catalogues and flyers.
Support with the overall website development. Amend and update product descriptions, images, videos and technical specifications.
Support SEO optimization. Researching keywords and updating webpages appropriately.
Basic designing duties, including producing artwork for labels and barcodes.
Liaising with agencies, printers and designers
Help the marketing executive develop, implement, and update the Company's social media accounts.
Work closely with the Marketing Executive with photography and videography projects.
Create engaging copy for both digital and printed collateral.
Contribute to the wider sales and marketing projects as required and support the delivery of marketing campaigns and events.
Support with reporting on the marketing communications effectiveness.
Plan and research content for internal and external case studies and articles.
Carry out research and analysis on both the industry, our suppliers and our competitors.
Support with sourcing, pricing and negotiating branded merchandise.
As this is a small business, you will be expected to perform any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties.

Experience Required:

Knowledge, Languages, Skills, and Attributes

A-Level or equivalent standard of education. Ideally in English.
Competent in using key software including CMS, Adobe, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrable proofreading skills.
Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, prioritise under pressure and use your own initiative.
Ability and confidence to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
