Salary: M1- UP3 (Paid to scale)

Start Date: May or ASAP

Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire

Are you a passionate English Teacher looking to begin a new challenge? Or a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to get started within the sector?

GSL Education are currently looking for English Teacher to work in a long-term placement. Roles are suitable for Fully Qualified and Newly Qualified Teachers who are looking to complete their induction year. Jobs may become permanent for the right candidates.

The school is a large comprehensive school with mixed genders aged 11 through to 18 years. Capacity of around 1169 students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, mark & deliver English up to GCSE or A-level Standard.
Engage students to learn the subject and classroom manage.
Have excellent communication skills to liaise with school leaders, parents, carers or guardians and young people.
Have patience and the ability to adapt teaching style to meet the needs of individual students are valuable traits.

As a successful candidate:

Have at least six months of UK teaching experience.
Have an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service or are willing to process one through GSL Education. at your earliest convenience.
Will hold QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
