    Course Design & Developers (Inside IR35) X 2

    Contract Term: 12 Months

    Contracting Authority: Nuclear Waste Services

    Location: Hybrid - 1 day per week in Office - Either Cumbria, Warrington or Harwell.

    Nuclear Waste Services brings together the UK's leading nuclear waste management capabilities.

    This position is crucial in supporting the Senior Technical Competency Manager/Leadership Development Lead in defining and delivering the NWS training strategy. The main responsibility is designing and delivering technical, personnel, and professional development training with a blended approach required across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities as a Course Design & Developer:

    • - Defining and delivering the NWS training strategy.
    • - Engaging with the subject matter expert after completion of formal analysis to start developing the design plan.
    • - Ensuring all courses have SMART learning objectives and a method for evaluation.
    • - Collaborating with SME on the proposed Training Programme Content and assessment methods.
    • - Scheduling pilot training events in line with L&D processes.
    • - Overseeing the decommissioning of outdated training as new courses are developed.
    • - Facilitating a smooth handover of new courses to L&D central teams.

    Requirements:

    • - Compliance with RSP 12.16 Information Risk Management.
    • - Conducting work securely at all times.
