- Definition and cost estimating manufacturing processes for new designs
- Identifying tooling requirements and overseeing the production of job cards and work instructions
- Managing development test units to validate manufacturing concepts
- Creating process flow maps and PFMEAs to support NPI stage reviews
- Resolving production issues and supporting the NPI team on manufacturing project plans
- Managing production risks using tools like Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
- Strong experience in composite manufacturing processes, specifically oven-cured pre-preg parts in regulated industries
- Leading process development activities for new parts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including customer interaction
- Exposure to aerospace or other regulated manufacturing environments
- ONC Engineering qualification
- Knowledge of composite layup techniques
