- Perform all work assigned in a timely and economical manner, and to Company and Manufacturer standards.
- Advise the Workshop Controller if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults.
- Maintain a high level of competency by undergoing on-site training attending courses and reading technical bulletins as required.
- Assist customers with any questions or concerns regarding their vehicle.
- Fitting of all products, in conjunction with fitting instructions when applicable.
- Offer phone assistance to customers (technical issues/problem solving).
- Repair, maintenance and updating of customer and fleet vehicle's including accessories.
- Diagnose vehicle faults, repair or replace faulty parts.
- Maintain yours and the workshop tools and equipment.
- Make sure the workshop and work areas are clean safe and presentable.
- Regular work shop inventory stock takes.
- Warranty and repair work.
- Perform test drives to check repairs.
- Maintain a database of spare parts/stock.
- Assist with other duties when required.
