The Role:

As a Specialist Clinical Advisor within the Hampshire Equipment Services (HES), you will have the opportunity to join a team that provides training, advice and support to a range of clinicians and service managers.
  • HES is a critical service, supplying a range of equipment for the nurses, occupational therapists and care professionals to enhance the provision of first-class health and social care to the people of Hampshire.
  • Thanks to your clinical background, you'll understand the needs of our health care staff to provide efficient and effective services as well as the equipment itself. You will be able to supply advice and training; support clinicians with complex assessments; evaluate and review products and prioritise demands for equipment.
  • Your understanding of care in the community will equip you to be able to demonstrate good clinicalbased practice; knowledge of healthcare equipment and a firm grasp of relevant legislation.
Crucially, you'll be articulate, analytical and good with people.

You will have a keen interest in further developing your knowledge around equipment and alternative solutions which can best meet service user's requirements and make a significant contribution to HES clinical team comprising OT, moving and handling advisors and very capable support workers.
