- Accompanying the client to inspect void properties following the designated process
- Inspecting occupied properties alongside the client according to the defined process
- Regular communication with tenants and the client
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and preparing it for on-site use
- Coordinating with Sub-Contractor partners and scheduling their tasks to align with the program
- Supervising the sites under your jurisdiction
- Providing on-site guidance to the operatives
- Conducting Health & safety audits and quality checks
- Strengthen client relationships to foster trust and become the go-to contractor for issue resolution
- Apply the work sequence in line with client expectations once the scope is determined
- Collaborate with Service Manager to assign appropriate trade skill sets for optimal work efficiency
- Work with the team to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
- Identify areas for process enhancement and implement improvements
- Report critical events to the Contract Manager promptly and address key issues affecting service delivery
- Provide support to the Operations Centre and address technical queries
- Recruit and onboard operatives ensuring a professional introduction to the company and project
- Coordinate and conduct regular Toolbox talks to keep the team informed and engaged
- Ability to create Quotations and Estimates and maintain records effectively
- Proficient in recruiting and onboarding staff professionally
- Technical expertise in relevant areas to provide efficient solutions
- Capable of coaching a team towards achieving desired standards and quality
- Adaptability to evolving work environments and challenges
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining a professional demeanor at all levels
- Organized with effective time management and diary organization
- Practical approach to Health & Safety compliance
- Technical knowledge of building methods, regulations, and practices
- Familiarity with materials and practices in social housing construction
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations under the Health & Safety at Work Act & Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015
- Desirable certifications: IOSH Working Safely, Scaffold Inspector Course
- Valid driving license
- All individuals on the contract must undergo a DBS check

Our client specializes in Fabric Maintenance and void repairs for residential buildings in Fareham area. The main focus is on void property work, particularly in Kitchens, Bathrooms, and Wet rooms.
Join us in the role where you will oversee the work conducted by our Operatives and Sub-Contractor partners in the field. Your responsibility is to ensure all work aligns with established processes, maintains quality standards, and upholds our values to deliver the quality expected, reflecting value for the money spent.
In this position, your key responsibilities will include:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define project scope and work closely with the client to meet Voids standard
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Collaborate with clients to develop Voids Standards Specification
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
- Understanding of residential Building Regulations and Approved Code of Practice
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- NVQ2 or equivalent in a trade skill
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years in Building Maintenance
- 3 years in a Supervisory role
- 2 years Scoping and work capture in residential housing, particularly in kitchens, bathrooms, and wet rooms
