    The Cambridge office is part of AECOM's largest multi-disciplinary practice in the UK. It serves as the UK&I Centre of Excellence for the Science, Healthcare, and Tertiary Education sectors, housing over 50 industry professionals from various levels.

    We specialize in delivering large-scale, intricate new construction projects ranging from £20m to over £250m.

    Job Description

    Are you a Project Director keen on working with a diverse portfolio of Life Science, Health, and Tertiary Education projects that spearhead cutting-edge technology to elevate standards to new heights? Join our team in Cambridge to work on innovative projects that continually push boundaries, collaborating with UK academic researchers, global manufacturers, and scientific experts.

    As a Project Director, you will lead a cohesive team on a significant segment of complex Life Science, Health, or Tertiary Education projects. Your role will encompass various project stages from inception to completion, requiring consultancy or client-side experience, preferably in the Science or Health sector.

    • Lead Project Management Commissions, ensuring successful delivery
    • Supervise team members, providing support and guidance
    • Manage project finances, resources, and reviews
    • Develop strong client relationships and drive business opportunities

    Qualifications

    • Professionally Qualified in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
    • Chartered Status with recognized institutions
    • Experience in stakeholder engagement and complex project teams

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Relevant Post Graduate Qualification
    • APM affiliation is preferred
    • Experience with Prince 2, MSP, and contract administration
