    Pay Rate: $32/hour
    Attendance/Performance Appreciation: Up to$250/Month as Gift Cards (NonTaxable)
    WeeklySchedule : 40 Hours

    Jobdescription

    The CredentialingSpecialist is responsible for facilitating all aspects of providercredentialing including initial appointment reappointmentcredential audits as well as clinical privileging for Medical StaffAllied Health Professionals and all other providers as outlined inthe corporate policy and procedures or hospital bylaws. UtilizeMDStaff credentialing software application to perform and monitorall credentialing/background checks while maintaining accuracy anddata integrity. Responsible for interpretation and compliance withthe appropriate accrediting and regulatory agencies whiledeveloping and maintaining a working knowledge of the statues andlaws relating to credentialing.

    Duties

    Responsiblefor all aspects of provider credentialing andrecredentialing.
    License Renewals: Ensures thatphysician licenses are renewed prior to expiration.
    Primary Source Verification: Completes primary source verificationfor new and existing providers to ensure due diligence.
    Records Management: Maintains assigned physician files updatingeach item/action as processed.
    Utilizes databasestatus/alert and other report functions software tools and links toscanned documentation.
    Ensures that information iscurrent and accurate.
    Credentialing Standards: maintainsconsistency in database entry to ensure accurate and consistentprocesses.
    Backup Coverage: provide credentialing backupfor other members of the credentialing group.
