- Develop and deliver an interactive summer session for the students attending the Connect2TCC summer camp at the Portsmouth or Norfolk Campus. The content of the workshop will be approved by the Coordinator and will be focused on the development of academic and professional skills for the participants.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism in representing Tidewater Community College to include adherence to all applicable TCC policies, procedures, and other established guidelines.
- Provide supervision and support of camp attendees during the workshop.
- Assist in transitioning camp participant to other camp activities as needed. Special Assignments

Tidewater Community College has served South Hampton Roads – both students and employers – for 50 years. It has grown from 1 campus into a regional educational and economic force. TCC is the largest provider of higher education and workforce services in Hampton Roads, enrolling nearly 28,000 students in Founded in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System, Tidewater Community College (TCC) services South Hampton Roads with 4 campuses in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach, 7 regional centers and 2 important cultural institutions. The college had 3,203 graduates in , 40 percent of whom pursued degrees that would let them transfer to 4-year institutions. TCC's institutional accreditation is affirmed through 2027 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.Position Summary:The temporary part-time workshop presenter works with a Connect2TCC Coordinator and the Camp participants. As the workshop presenter, the position will help with the successful development and implementation of an interactive workshop. This position reports to either the Connect2TCC Portsmouth or Norfolk Campus Coordinator. Multiple positions are to be hired for workshop topics ranging from English, math, computer skills, leadership development, financial literacy, career skills building, college success skill development, and personal development.
