    ROLE PURPOSE:


    nAs a Student Services and Excursion Intern, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding customer service and focusing on planning and leading various afternoon, evening, and weekend activities and excursions.

    Serving as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, you will be part of a dedicated Student Services team.

    This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall student experience by organizing enriching travel opportunities and cultural experiences.


    Student Services:

    nWelcome new students and ensure a smooth orientation experience.nFoster a customer service-focused culture for improved student retention.nLead diverse social program activities to enhance student engagement.nAddress student inquiries promptly, including courses, accommodation, and well-being.nEfficiently manage and resolve student issues and complaints.nCollect and analyse feedback for continuous improvement and high satisfaction.nCoordinate with EP head office on post-arrival service matters.nContribute to managing student accommodation and collaborate for optimal service delivery.nActively identify and implement opportunities for service enhancement.nAssist with administrative tasks as required.


    Travel and Excursion:

    nPlan and organize afternoon, evening, and weekend activities for students.nLead excursions to cultural and tourist destinations.nCoordinate logistics and ensure a smooth execution of travel plans.nAssist in creating engaging and culturally enriching experiences for students.nCollaborate with the Student Services team to enhance the overall student experience.nProvide support during on-campus events and social activities.


    ELIGIBILITY:
    nOpen to students applying as a requirement of their college, school, or university course.


    REQUIREMENTS:


    nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quick adaptability to new software.nAbility to work both independently and within a team.nPositive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic environment.nFamiliarity with the education industry and study abroad programs is beneficial.nPassion for travel, tourism, and cultural experiences.nStrong organizational and planning skills.nBasic knowledge of travel planning logistics.


    Key Performance Indicators:

    nStudent satisfaction scores and feedback.nPrompt and effective response to student inquiries.nSuccessful resolution of student issues or complaints.nImprovement in student retention rates.nPositive feedback from staff and visitors about interactions.nImplementation of service improvements based on feedback.nSuccessful planning and execution of diverse activities and excursions.nPositive feedback from students on travel experiences.


    WHAT WE OFFER:


    nFull-time interns will receive a stipend of £150 per week along with a travel card, committing up to 40 hours per week.nPart-time interns will be offered a complimentary morning English course, committing up to 20 hours per week, during the afternoon/evening.
