- Working with primary/secondary aged young people, with challenging behaviours and complex needs.
- Support with life skills, social skills.
- Engaging successfully with challenging young people, for example children who have complex needs, are reluctant to discuss their needs, and are unable to regulate and process their feelings.
- Flexible working days (Monday – Friday)
- Flexible working hours (9am-12pm or 1pm to 3pm)
- Term Time only
- Provision : SEN / SEND/
- Pay Rate : £20 per hour
- Start date : ASAP
- Location : Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole.
- Provision is usually held at residential or within a community venue subjecting on the needs of the young person.
- Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour/ complex needs.
- Have a good understanding of managing/mentoring young people.
- Minimum 2 years' experience
- Enhanced DBS on the update system or willing to apply for a new DBS if required.
- Hold right to work in the UK.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Safeguarding Policy

Sugarman Children's Services are looking for a motivated, passionate, reliable and friendly individual to join our team. providing 1:1 mentoring support to children with complex and challenging needs.
As an outreach youth worker, you will be responsible for offering a range of support to Primary/ Secondary students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week, during school hours. We are seeking individuals who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of young people by building a rapport with the young people to gain a good perspective of their day-today experience and support them engaging in positive activities. You will be required to take the young person out into the community, build on their self- confidence, self – esteem. Support to reintegrate them back into an education setting.
Our young people are based within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
