    365 People are currently hiring a Mechanical / Electrical Winder for a company in which you are in charge of your career and continued development.

    Our client is looking for a Mechanical / Electrical Winder to join their state-of-the-art Head Office.

    If you are highly motivated, eager to achieve, and have a strong work ethic you can help take our client to the next level.

    The role will also include carrying out basic mechanical fitting work. Dismantling, rewinding, reassembling, and testing of conventional single phase and three phase and small AC/DC motors and associated equipment including pumps and gearboxes

    • Carrying out incoming inspections of electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions to set procedures
    • Operating specialised repair and testing equipment, including winding machines, test panels, surge testers, core-loss testers, cut-off saws, burnout ovens, bake ovens, grinders cranes, forklift trucks, brazing units, dip tanks, and various handheld power and non-power tools
    • You will have a recognised Electrical engineering, or electrical machine repair and rewinds apprenticeship, or equivalent
    • Your experience will include dismantling, rewinding, assembling and testing of AC/DC motors and working with all types of mechanical (electrical – motor components) rotating equipment, ideally within a mechanical (electrical) workshop environment.
    • You will be skilled in the art of reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, with exceptional attention to detail
    • Customer service expertise will be essential, and you will have tuned your communication skills to support your methodical yet flexible approach to working within a changing environment
