The Business:
nCatches is a dynamic technology innovator in the fashion and eCommerce sector, dedicated to revolutionizing online shopping experiences.
With a focus on integrating advanced 3D rendering, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Visual Effects (VFX) techniques, we aim to create unparalleled digital realms for luxury fashion and exclusive events.
With pre-seed investment secured, Catches is poised for significant growth and impact in the eCommerce industry.Key Responsibilities:
nDesign, develop, and maintain an advanced automated 3D simulation pipeline capable of handling diverse digital avatar and clothing inputs.nInnovate and implement tools and systems to enhance simulation processes and workflows.nProvide technical leadership and manage a team of 2-3 developers, guiding projects from conception to completion.nWork closely with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and approaches into the existing pipeline.nMaintain and enhance code, including direct programming in languages such as VEX (Houdini) and MEL (Maya).
Requirements:
nMore than 10 years of experience in tool development or production engineering within 3D simulation, visual effects, animation, or a related field.nDemonstrated expertise as an elite tool programmer, with extensive experience in VEX, MEL, or equivalent.nProven track record of managing or working in technical teams and delivering high-quality production work.nExcellent problem-solving abilities and a forward-thinking approach to production challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
nPrior experience involving complex 3D simulations.nStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
