    Description

    Job Title: Web App Developer at TIDAL

    Job Description:

    We're seeking an experienced web app developer to join our new team dedicated to developing tools for artists. This initiative aims to provide artists with the essential resources to thrive and expand their careers.

    In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative team comprising web developers, Android, iOS, and backend developers. You'll work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design Managers for TIDAL Artist Tools and contribute to the broader Web App chapter to achieve our shared objectives.

    You will:

    • Create top-notch products for TIDAL users
    • Write clean, understandable code that is easy to maintain
    • Participate in defining product features and roadmap
    • Prioritize performance and accessibility
    • Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies
    • Be a proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
    • Tackle complex challenges with a tech-savvy approach and go the extra mile to ensure user satisfaction

    Qualifications:

    You have:

    • 5+ years of experience in developing web applications
    • Proficiency in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
    • Strong knowledge of web standards and TypeScript
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

    Nice-to-have:

    • Experience in developing products related to music streaming or creator tools

    Global and Remote:

    While our development teams are based in Oslo, Norway, we welcome remote colleagues from various European countries and the US. As a distributed team, we offer:

    • Flexible permanent work locations with no mandatory office presence
    • Opportunity to work up to 45 days per year from other designated countries
