- You will support the ongoing development of the Preoperative assessment (POA) service ensuring safe and effective preoperative care.
- You will support in assessing patient's health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individuals' health and wellbeing needs.
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
- Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others.
- Promote best practice in health and safety and security.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services.
- Be NMC registered your pin should not have any restrictions or conditions
- Have a minimum of 2 years preoperative assessment experience.
- Compassionate and able to showcase excellent patient care
- Strong Assessment skills
- Advanced IT skills for electronic preoperative assessment system
- Phlebotomy, venepuncture and ECG skills desirable (or willing to be trained).
