- Monitor designated loan portfolio and develop new business
- Prepare credit proposals
- Liaise with the Risk Team during pre-approval stage on credit risk related matters
- Submit customer's credit facility proposal in a timely manner and ensure the facility drawdown process is coordinated and completed
- Liaise with Loans Team post-approval
- Build relationships with intermediaries and third parties (solicitors, valuers, brokers, accountants etc.)
- Prepare credit review reports on a regular basis
- Develop strategies, tactics and action plans so as to achieve key performance targets
- Supervision of junior members of staff
- UK Banking experience is essential
- Knowledge and experience of UK Property lending and loan syndication is essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Economics, or a related discipline.
- Previous professional experience in commercial lending with experience working with syndications and credit
