    Job Description

    Role: Cyber Security Lead

    Location: Leeds

    Salary: £65,000+

    Locke & McCloud are seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to lead a small and growing team of cyber security professionals at a legal services firm.

    Keen to hear from technical cyber security professionals experienced in the Microsoft Security suite and have end to end Azure project experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Cyber Security Team.
    • Develop and oversee the Security cloud migration process, identifying any gaps.
    • Conduct regular performance meetings with team members and deputise for the Cyber Security Manager when necessary.
    • Create and maintain security support documentation, including processes and procedures, to ensure effective support.
    • Collaborate with various departments within the IT Department to safeguard the infrastructure, from implementing new systems to monitoring existing ones.
    • Demonstrate the ability to lead a team in challenging environments.
    • Serve as the primary point of escalation for security responses during both regular and after-hours incidents.
    • Oversee post-cyber security incident forensic investigations and reporting, engaging third-party specialists if necessary.
    • Stay informed about the latest security threats, principles, techniques, and protocols, taking prompt action if required, and staying abreast of the latest security news and developments.

    About you:

    • Experience of mentoring or leading a technical security team.
    • Proven track record of working in an Azure environment.
    • Good knowledge and experience of infrastructure and application technologies: Server 2012+, ESX/VMware, Messaging (Exchange 2016+), IIS, SQL 2012+, Linux appliances, architecture and OS, Back-up technologies, Citrix, and Cisco networking.
    • Implementation of cloud related technologies.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Ability to see patterns and solutions, attention to detail and ability to recognise trends in data.
    • Security+, SSCP, CISP, CEH, CCNA, CCNA Security, OSCP, MCSE, a computing/security related BSc/MSc (desirable).
