    Role Function

    Equitix's ESG & sustainability team is seeking an Analyst to support the integration of sustainability factors throughout the investment lifecycle.

    This role would suit somebody who can prioritise their workload and balance multiple projects while building an understanding of infrastructure investment.

    The individual will report to Equitix's ESG & sustainability lead and work with members of Equitix's dedicated ESG & sustainability team as well as colleagues across the investment and asset management divisions based in the UK and internationally.

    Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection & Analysis
    Support the collection, monitoring and management of ESG data from portfolio assets.

    Liaise with external service providers to continue evolving Equitix's portfolio data coverage and quality, including the design of surveys and onboarding of assets into data tools.

    Contribute to the development and presentation of relevant data insights back to internal stakeholders.

  • Investor Reporting & Marketing
    Develop ESG reporting and disclosures in line with client and regulatory requirements on a periodic and ad hoc basis.

    Assist in the publication of annual reporting, including Equitix's Sustainability Report, Climate Report, and PRI Assessment by interfacing with external service providers and internal teams for review and comment.

    Prepare marketing materials, including presentation slides, for use in client meetings and pitches.

  • Transactions and Asset Management
    Interface with investment team colleagues on the progression of ESG due diligence against fund criteria.

    Support completion of internal ESG due diligence tools and develop responses to ESG queries raised by prospective investors.

    Assist in asset and sector-level engagement related to ongoing sustainability performance, including the coordination of GRESB assessments and the progression of initiatives designed to progress fund objective.

    Skills and Qualifications
  • University degree in relevant field
  • Previous work / internship experience
  • Demonstrable interest in ESG and sustainability, as well as responsible infrastructure investment
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including ability to present high quality and professional presentation materials
  • Comfortable working with incomplete datasets and excel, some experience with tools such as PowerBI
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and strong attention to detail
  • Effective inter-personal and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, capable of balancing multiple tasks against deadlines
