    Description

    We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Software Engineer, as ourSoftware Engineer you will join one of our customer-facing product teams and youwill play a crucial role in helping to shape the technical direction of our web platform. You will be supported by a Product Manager as well as a Lead Engineer to ensure we are building the right experiences to delight our customers with the right tech choices.

    , is a successful and award winning online travel agency specialising in Ski and Cruise holidays. Through our award winning brands Iglu Cruise, Planet Cruise and Iglu Ski, we provide expert service and exceptional ski and cruise holidays to locations around the world.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coding and Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in hands-on development as needed, contributing to critical parts of the project.
    • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance and testing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Perform code reviews and oversee testing efforts.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Troubleshooting : Investigate and resolve technical issues and challenges, providing timely solutions to keep projects on track.

    Experience / Qualifications:

    • Experience of collaborating in cross-functional product teams on the successful delivery of complex, highly performing and high-quality software systems.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Extensive experience of C#, MVC and SQL (.net framework and .net core)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in mentoring junior software developers.
    • Experience using agile methodologies
    • Knowledge of AWS (or other cloud technologies)
    • Knowledge of distributed caching
    • Knowledge of search technologies
    • Exposure to TeamCity, Octopus and Bitbucket Pipelines
