You will be required to work closely with staff across the hospital, as well as within Estates & Facilities.

To provide daily operational support to the Facilities Manager, and coordination of Facilities services across the Trust.
To manage a team of Facilities supervisors/co-ordinators.
To support the delivery of a professional, quality, cost effective service in order to facilitate the achievement of the Estates & Facilities objectives.
This will involve establishing a detailed knowledge of the service provided and developing close working relationships with the Facilities Managers and staff.
The post holder will assist the Deputy and/or Facilities Manager to ensure effective operational management across the service areas to improve service efficiencies.
The Jobholder will directly line manage a team supervisors/co-ordinators as well as assist in the effective management and development of service specific staff.
- in delivering facilities services to wards & departments across all Trust sites, including community sites where appropriate

- Ensure compliance with all Trust policies & procedures
- Ensure effective cascading of communications to facilities staff.
- Identify areas of noncompliance within service area and escalate to Deputy/ Facilities Manager.
- Support Deputy/Facilities Manager to monitor, maintain and improve the quality of service, including
- Undertake audits and provide reports from these to the Deputy/Facilities Manager.
- Ensure that all health and safety responsibilities are met within area of responsibility.
- Ensure that all risk assessments are uptodate and undertake timely investigation of all risk incidents as and when required.

- Ensure all service specific scheduled activity is undertaken within the expected timeframe and ensure exceptions are escalated to Deputy/ Facilities Manager.
