- Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience.
- Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to ensure on-site operational and health and safety standards are maintained.
- Attending reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
- Keeping sites clean and tidy and undertaking safety and security checks.
- Always working safely and complying with all Health and Safety guidance and procedures.
- Base Location: Swindon, however due to the nature of the role you will be expected to travel in the surrounding area.
- Working Pattern or Hours: Monday-Friday 38 hours per week.
- Working Pattern or hours: 38 Hours Monday-Friday Plus the inclusion onto a standby rota for which you will receive additional payment.
- Be a self-motivated individual who can immerse themselves into the team around them, you need to be very disciplined have thedesire to learn from those around you and have a can-do attitude. This role can be demanding at times but very rewarding too.
- Take Ownership of responding quickly to faults, being curious to understand the problem fully, and identifying the best solution to resolve it the first time.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to interact with the team.
- Teamwork – We are one team, and our end goals are the same.
- Proactive – take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively.
- Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.
- Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is essential.
- Competitive salary starting from £24,800.
- Annual Leave 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
