    Clinical Placement Coordinator
    Hybrid Working – with national travel as required for meetings | Learning Foundation | Permanent Contract | Full Time
    Competitive salary, depending on experience

    37.5 hours per week

    As the Clinical Placement Co-ordinator, you will work as an integral part of our Learning Foundation Team supporting the professional education team with the management and coordination of clinical placement activity.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Sourcing, allocating and overseeing clinical placement arrangements for a variety of learners on higher education university programmes.
    • Acting as the primary point of contact for clinical placement-related enquiries from learners, hospital sites and training partners and stakeholders.
    • Creating and maintaining accurate databases and reports relating to clinical placements.
    • Coordinating and overseeing clinical placement agreements and conducting quality audits.
    • Collaborating with learners, hospital sites and training partners and stakeholders to assess and determine student placement needs and preferences.
    • Supporting with the developing of strategies to expand clinical placement opportunities and partnerships.
    • Evaluating the effectiveness of clinical placement processes and suggesting improvements.
    • Assisting in the development and revision of clinical placement policies and procedures.

    To succeed as our Clinical Placement Coordinator you'll be working in a similar role or in an administrative role in a clinical setting. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and numerical skills.
    • Ability to work pro-actively and on your own initiative.
    • Good accuracy and high attention to detail.
    • Ability to respond quickly to changing priorities by organising and prioritising own workload to meet deadlines.
    • PC literate with competent use of IT systems and Microsoft Office applications appropriate to the role.
    • Ability to generate documents, reports, data spreadsheets and materials using a variety of systems and administration skills.
