    Description

    South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a passionate, innovative, and enthusiastic practitioner to join our motor vehicle team at our Tamworth and Rodbaston Campus to inspire our motor vehicle apprentices.

    The successful candidate will be a qualified Level 3 or higher in Motor Vehicle Technology or a related field, Substantial experience in the motor vehicle industry.

    A teaching qualification (PGCE or DTTLS), an Assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent) with teaching experience at Level 3 and experience of assessing in the workplace is desirable.

    Good communication skills, the ability to work as a team and to use your own initiative will be essential to your success as well as a full driving licence and willingness to travel, as you will be frequently off site.

    What you can expect from us - We care about your wellbeing so have a number of activities all year that provide support. However, time off is also important. We have a generous holiday scheme, the usual Bank Holidays, an additional 5 days at Christmas and 2 'ME' days (where you can have a day off work and do whatever makes you happy) as well as an additional day on campus spent on wellbeing.

The College also contributes to your pension at a minimum of 22.9% (we contribute more for people in the Local Government Pension Scheme).
