- Supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive and ISO9001 compliant quality management system for assigned projects.
- Supporting the preparation and execution of internal audits within engineering, manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards.
- Using knowledge and expertise to propose improve opportunities.
- Assisting in maintaining constant readiness for customer and end user/Government audit and inspection.
- Assuring the quality of design artefacts and documentation generated throughout the programme lifecycle to support the acceptance process (e.g. build control records, production test results, third party testing and commissioning reports, configuration logs etc).
- Engaging internally to collaboratively work and provide solutions to issues.
- Participating and facilitating in root cause and corrective action assessments to address product non-conformances and compliance gaps.
- Participates in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including: customer escapes, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings.
- Auditing and supporting audits.
- Quality investigations.
- Root cause analysis.
- Working to quality plans iaw standards such as ISO 9001.
- Understanding engineering issues / helping to resolve using quality methodologies.

The role: We are currently looking for a Project Quality Engineer to help develop, monitor and improve processes and procedures that directly impact project quality.
The successful person will be responsible for providing assurance that the documentation generated through the design, production, commissioning and testing of the project meets both internal standards and those required to support the customer acceptance process. You will also support engagements with suppliers, customers and end user quality management stakeholders to understand quality issues and putting corrective and preventative measures in place to address root causes of the issues.
