    Description

    QT Education has been approached to recruit a qualified Business Studies teacher for a mixed gender secondary school with academy status located in the West area of Bristol.

    Graded 'Good' by Ofsted in 2021.
    Must be experienced teaching Business Studies with the ability to teach KS3 Humanities
    To ensure a high-quality curriculum provision and effective teaching and learning within the curriculum areas of business. In addition to carrying out the professional duties of a qualified teacher in accordance with the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions document
    Ability to design teaching materials to sustain students' interest in the subject

    Experience, Qualifications and Training:
    We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Business Studies/Humanities
    Must have QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
    Previous teaching experience
    Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential) training can be provided
    Actively supports the Academy's aims and commitment to ITT
    Active participation in Academy developments such as extra-curricular activities/ educational visits / out-of hours learning
    Passion for teaching
    Good health and attendance record
    Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
    Eligibility to work in a teaching role:
    Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
    Enhanced DBS certificate which is either on the online 'Update Service' or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate
    Suitability to work with children and young people will form part of the selection process. As part of the shortlisting process an online search will be carried out.

    It is an offence to apply for a role if the applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
