- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, cutting, and packaging machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimise downtime.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to production schedules.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory, accurately and comprehensively.
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of PLCs and automated production systems is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering.
