    Description

    Our work has led to major antitrust legal actions against Big Tech (including Apple, Amazon and Facebook), Big Pharma, Big Finance and Big Agriculture.

    Meanwhile our original and innovative investigations into the dumping of sewage and Covid-19 testing have led to national press coverage.

    Our Financial and Securities Litigation team are the consulting and testifying expert for plaintiffs in almost all landmark financial litigations.

    We are leaders in our field and we have supported our clients in recovering billions of dollars in settlements for plaintiffs, in 2022 alone.

    We are looking for a Business Manager to join our team and support the COO by managing the end-to-end logistics of our economics project lifecycles and our business plans.

    This role will manage the end-to-end business logistics of a project lifecycle and our business plans, acting as a point of liaison and intermediary between the project team, accounting, operations, HR and people management, external legal counsel and other key stakeholders.

    Support the internal economist projects teams to ensure good financial discipline and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

    Work with our project teams of economists to develop and track key performance metrics including our time tracking systems.

    Support the COO and Business Line Heads on the reporting of project milestones, business development pipeline, and financial reporting to the management team.

    Support the project team by organising and maintaining files and data flow, as needed throughout the project life cycle.

    Work collaboratively between the project teams, accounts, HR and the COO on headcount and resource planning against the project pipeline.

    Work with external legal counsel to ensure that engagement letters and T&Cs for projects are managed, filed and organised in a timely manner.

    Grow our testifying academic network. Identify and maintain relationships with relevant testifying experts for each business unit.

    Work with the COO and accounts team to track, manage and forecast the business development pipeline as well as financials needed for management decision making.

    Coordinate other business activities as and when required.

    Degree in business administration, financial management or similar would be desirable.
    Project management experience and understanding of understanding of project methodologies (ideally through project management qualifications). A genuine interest in uncovering competition and financial markets wrongdoing.
    Integrity, and a creative, curious mind.
    European languages would be highly advantageous but are not essential.

    Fideres is an economic consulting firm specialised in economic analysis of competition litigation matters.
