As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant, maintaining our high standards of product quality and safety for troubleshooting and managing a wide range of engineering assets and activities at our Ashton under Lyne site.
Please note this is a Panama shift pattern, which includes night shifts and weekend working.In this role, you will work in alignment with company practices, procedures, and SOPs to ensure health and safety, food safety, and legal compliance.
You will perform maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently, report and escalate any issues identified during reactive breakdowns or proactive maintenance activities, and identify opportunities to improve the reliability of assets and engineering working processes.
Additionally, you will provide training and support for the transfer of basic tasks to operators.Be part of a well-established and reputable company in the food industry.

Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
You should have completed an Engineering Qualification and/or Apprenticeship and possess demonstrable electrical competence through training and experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including control panels, PLCs, motors, and power distribution.
~ Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
~ Effective IT skills, including the use of Computer Maintenance Management Systems, are essential.
