Our client is a well-known global and forward-thinking retail business, who is striving to make sustainability a key aspect of their packaging design and production.


This newly created entry-level role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen desire to develop a career in packing and design.


As a Packaging Project Coordinator, your role is crucial in ensuring that sustainable materials are used in all elements of packaging.

Working closely with the wider packaging team and global buyers, you will support the team in reducing the environmental impact of packaging.

If you have a background in packaging design and an interest in science and sustainability, we would love to hear from you

  • Assist in the execution and delivery of packaging projects across all categories, providing Structural Engineers with support on their projects.
  • Work sidebyside with Structural Engineers and Managers to drive projects and the business forward.
  • Coordinating testing and measuring of products and their packaging, capturing data, and presenting it back having drawn conclusions.
  • Gathering data on current and historic packaging performance and trends, taking into consideration how packaging contributes to the customer experience and purchase decision, and helping investigate abnormalities in data.
  • Science based A Levels, BTEC or HND qualifications.
  • Experience within packaging design, material manufacturing, and/or production facility in a retail or other environment with a good understanding of packaging processes and materials across many packaging formats.
  • A working knowledge of print processes and print quality management is desirable.
  • Great multitasker and problem solver.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Can work on your own initiative.
  • Able to work cooperatively, building relationships within and across teams internally or externally.
  • Excellent computer literacy; able to work across many different operating systems and software types.
  • Experience with CAD is advantageous.

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
